Anthony William, the medical medium.
Just a little history talk, if you guys are okay with that.
Going back many, many years ago,
a chronically ill person had one option.
Go to the doctor, get told that they're lazy,
making it up, or they're crazy,
or they're just bored, looking for attention.
and that their symptoms can't be real
because the medical tests prove otherwise.
They say that the person's fine.
That used to be what it was like many years ago.
The main focus was if they can't see the illness,
if it doesn't show up on a test, then you're not sick.
And as far as alternative medicine goes, it was few and far between, very few.
It was scarce.
And what was offered or out there wasn't really helpful.
It wasn't enough.
And for the people who are daring enough to steer off course, they'd find themselves in a pharmacy staring at a bottle of conventional multivitamins.
Maybe a probiotic at best or a fish oil.
Maybe a vitamin E and a vitamin A.
capsule. And that's what they would see. It was hard to get any answers whatsoever.
And most people were told they were just crazy and they were looking for attention.
The chronically ill was swept under the carpet. Swept under the carpet for decades and decades.
But now the chronically ill are being used in a different way now.
because they were being used before.
They were the cash cow for the conventional model,
for the conventional medicine model.
They were the cash cow,
and they were used for that reason.
And as years gone by,
social media started,
things started changing,
and they are used again.
they're used for the social media
doctor or the social media influencer
not every single one of them
but they're used for them now
because they're valuable
they're valuable for social proof
and valuable for clicks and likes
and views
they're valuable
to make people rich
allow people to run lots of ads
and advertising campaigns
they're valuable for
health gurus
and doctors who want to do social media
instead of practice
and work on people
they're valuable for them
they're valuable for
all kinds of different things now.
They're being used in a different way.
And then the media tends to put stories out there
every now and then.
This person has this sickness
or this person has this illness
and this is what they're doing for it.
They're doing this or they're taking that.
And so chronically ill
seem to be getting a spotlight,
but really they're just being used again
in a different way.
The chronically ill still gets swept under the carpet.
It's just in a different shape,
fashion, or form.
I think that
I think that
the fact that the chronically ill
have been disrespected for so, so long.
And one of the reasons is because people who aren't truly chronically ill
just don't know what it feels like.
They just don't know what it's like.
It's unimaginable.
It doesn't make any sense to them.
and even some of the influencers and doctors that say oh i had this hard time
and i had to fix it i had this problem my digestive digestion and i had to fix it with
my microbiome and here's what i did and come and join my you know thing and
come and watch me i got the answers here and i got the answers here
even when it seems like somebody kind of gets it
they don't get it
they don't
and I think the chronically ill
have been disrespected long enough
and it's been decades and decades
and some of you guys probably know
you've been sick a long time
and you've been around
and you're seasoned
and you've been through it all
some of you guys maybe just got sick recently
maybe it was last year
maybe it was two years ago
or three years ago
but a lot has to still change
and a lot has to still improve
we're just not there yet
SOC
I'm doing everything I can
to message
any kind of wisdom
and information
and truth
get answers out there
and do my part.
But when I look out there,
it's one of the big challenges for me
when I lay there at night and I think about it
and I say, what is really happening out there
and what is everybody really doing?
And it truly is like
seeking of fame
in the most
strangest way ever out there.
It'd be different if it was fashion.
It would be different if it was sports.
It would be different if it was art.
Somebody seeking fame and art, fine.
Totally respect that.
Somebody seeking fame in fashion.
Somebody seeking fame in sports.
Great.
But when it comes down to chronic illness
and the goal is seeking fame
and then using the chronically ill
to get you there,
it's pretty sick.
I think that, you know, when I think about it and I'm like, okay, well, someone might say, well, you know, Anthony William, you're famous.
First of all, I don't believe that.
Second of all, I can tell you this, that it was organic since a child.
The Spirit said you have to get the information out there and you have to get people the answers they need.
People are suffering and we have to do something about it.
And we have to change what happened in the health world and health field.
We have to change the structure and we have to shift it and alter it so people can truly get their lives back and heal.
I never had a big PR marketing company.
I never signed up to any agencies.
I don't have a publicist pushing the medical medium information out there.
A PR firm pushing the medical medium books and information out there.
I never signed up to an agency.
like I see all of them do in the health field now.
And I think that it's kind of telling
because they're doing what somebody would do
in the fashion world or the art world or anything else
and they're doing it in the health world.
And it's like, huh, shouldn't be like that.
It is to each his own.
People can do what they want to do.
but it tells you a lot.
It does.
It really does.
Because in the end, it's about them.
It's not about the person who's sick.
It's about them,
not the person who's suffering.
And I think what happens is that someone asked me,
pretty recently that knows me,
has known me for a long time,
and said,
A.W.,
I don't understand.
How come you don't just take that TV show?
How come you don't do this and do that?
How come you don't get that agency?
And how come you don't,
you know,
the mainstream networks asked
if you could do a medical medium series
on television for years.
You've been offered that
dozens of times.
And it's always the same answer.
I try to look for another answer
and I can't find it.
But it's always the same answer
and then it's going to be just about me.
It's going to be just about me.
Unless someday
it can be done in a way
that's just about the people
who are suffering
but I haven't had that opportunity yet.
and someday when that opportunity comes
or if it ever did come
and it can be about the people suffering
and focus truly about the people suffering
and what they need and what they've been through
then maybe that could be a good thing
and maybe that'll come
if it doesn't, it doesn't
but I think the health field has lost its way
I think it has lost its way.
Truly.
Truly has lost its way.
And really it's a big part of it's really focused now on
and it's a mixed bag of nuts
and it's focused on how people look.
And the people that look the prettiest
and the most handsome are the ones
that get the most views and likes in the health realm.
It's not about the people who are suffering
and who are sick
and who need answers.
It's not about them.
I think what drives me
when I wake up in the morning
is just focusing on what truly matters the most.
And it's about the people who
really, really are sick
and are trying with everything they have
to recover and heal and get better.
They just need a chance.
They just need the right direction.
They need to get out of that sea of confusion.
it needs to be their time to heal.
Anyway.
Sorry about throwing all these thoughts out there,
but thinking about you guys
and hang in there and lots of love.
